Riley Thilthorpe has been selected by the Adelaide Football Club at pick number 2 in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft.
Known for his athleticism and versatility, the 201cm forward/ruck made his league debut for West Adelaide in 2019 as a 17 year old.
He played 9 league games in 2020 after notching up 6 in 2019.
Originally from Goodwood Saints Football Club, Riley developed his talents in West Adelaide’s junior programs from under 12s through to under 18s.
This is the 5th time in the last seven years West Adelaide has produced a first round draft selection with Sam Durdin, Aaron Francis, Izak Rankine and Will Day all first round picks.
We congratulate Riley on his draft selection and wish him all the best in his AFL career.
