Team Selection – Round 18

Big bustling forward Lyndon Hupfeld has been recalled into the side against his old team Norwood for our final game of the year. He kicked three goals in the reserves last week after returning from a hamstring injury.

We celebrate Kenny Karpany’s 50th league game this Friday night so we encourage all members and supporters to come to City Mazda Stadium and cheer us on against Norwood.

Our reserves could still be playing for a spot in the finals. If they win Friday night against Norwood, and then Glenelg lose to Sturt on Saturday we could see ourselves in the finals.

Our under 18s look to lock in 2nd spot and a double chance at finals with a win this Saturday for Beau Nunan’s 50th game when they take on Norwood (at Glenelg).
We thank all our members who have come out and supported us in what we know has been a really tough and frustrating year. We will have presentations on in the club rooms, so hang around after the match and have a drink at Westies Bar and Bistro.
