Senior List Update – Ronald Fejo

The West Adelaide Football Club wishes to advise members, supporters and fans that Ronald Fejo will not be returning to the club for season 2022. Ronnie was invited to train with Essendon last December and has been there applying his craft in pursuit of one of the two spots left on Essendon’s AFL list. Ronnie performed exceptionally well in an internal trial where he kicked two goals but unfortunately didn’t claim a spot on their AFL list.

Essendon has since offered him an opportunity to play in their VFL side and be available to play AFL as a COVID top up player should they need to be required or be selected in the mid-season draft. Essendon have also invested in Ronnie off the field with a community position with their indigenous program.

This opportunity was too good to refuse and is the best for Ronnie’s development. West Adelaide will always be here for him and we hope that we see Ronnie playing AFL in the near future or if that doesn’t eventuate back at the bloods in the future.
