Already announced is Senior Coach Brad Gotch who is currently quarantining for two weeks in Adelaide. Brad will be joined by Assistant Coach Adam Hartlett who will look after the backline.
Josh Ramsey will step up from the Reserves head coaching role in 2020 to become the League forwards coach.
Wade Foggo will also move up from the reserves to guide the League midfield with assistance from David Piasente.
The senior coaching group possesses a great mix of experience and knowledge and the addition of an assistant midfield coach further strengthens the panel from 2020 and this will be able to get the best out of each player in 2021.
As for the Reserves, we would like to welcome past player Ryan Anderson back to the club. Ryan played at West Adelaide between 2008-2011 and 2013-2014 and has been coaching Blackwood for the past two seasons. Anderson led Blackwood to successive finals campaigns in with a Preliminary Final appearance in 2020.
It is an exciting new addition to not only have another Bloods player back and a very good coach in the making to take the lead of the Reserves. Nick Ben who assisted with the Reserves in 2020 will take the reins of the Backs in 2021. Luke McCracken continues with the forwards in the Reserves after doing both the League and Reserves forwards for different parts of 2020. Lastly, Rickie Kelly remains with the midfield as he did in 2020.
We are delighted with the panel that Brad and the Club has assembled for 2021. We will look to add a Ruck Coach to the panel throughout the year to ensure the Rucks receive some specific coaching similar to the approach we had in 2020.
