The Club would like to notify members and supporters that one of our leaders at the Club has decided to call time on his SANFL career.
Patrick Levicki spoke to the playing group last night to inform them of his decision to retire from SANFL football. His body and injuries over the past 12 months have made it challenging for him to continue to push to the standard required for SANFL League football and believes the time is right to step away.
Since joining the Club from Norwood, Patrick has played 30 games for West Adelaide and a total of 81 SANFL games. He has been an integral part of the Club since his arrival, a strong person on and off the field and a terrific leader who will be missed by all.
The Club wishes Pat all the best in the future and we can’t thank him enough for the contribution he has made during his time at West Adelaide.
In other news, the Club would also like to mention that Murray Waite has decided to step back from SANFL football due to his body not being able to handle the work load of the SANFL program. We wish Murray all the best for the future.
