Moody’s Match Report – Round 3

Week 3 didn’t start as well as we would have like, we were beaten in contested footy, tackles and inside fifties. This was everything we did well in the first two weeks. After we settled we did well, we were intimidated and it’s something we need to adjust to when you are the hunted.

Our second half was a lot better, in the last quarter we started well and we got within two kicks and had momentum, but some critical decisions allowed them to kick a goal and settle. Game 3 was a very big learning curve for us.

Our best on ground in no order are: Madi Russell, Zoe Venning, Rachelle Martin and Kate Walsh. The break has come at a good time, we re-group and hit Norwood with everything next round.
